A Tribal Government’s Approach to Addressing Landslide Risk- This presentation will highlight key components of the Chilkat Indian Village’s (CIV) geohazard program as they relate to landslides and the government’s efforts to reduce the threat to human life and critical village infrastructure in Klukwan. This presentation provides one example of how a Tribal government is partnering across several institutions and disciplines to carry out climate planning and landslide assessment, monitoring, and risk reduction.
